Dr. Clint Newman Featured in Nashville Edition of The Scout Guide
Nashville, TN - Cosmetic dentist Clint Newman has been fully committed to the people of Nashville and the wider community since he started practicing general dentistry there in 2001. Since then, he has received numerous glowing testimonials, grown a dedicated patient base in the area, and continues to provide the best dental care he possibly can.
Given his place in the community over the years, it should come as no surprise that Dr. Clint Newman has been featured in the second Nashville edition of The Scout Guide. Dr. Newman is the first doctor to be showcased as part of The Scout Guide. Its editors are pleased to include him alongside other local businesses that make Nashville what it is today.
About The Scout Guide
The Scout Guide (thescoutguide.com) was co-founded by Susie Matheson and Christy Ford of Charlottesville, Virginia. It began as a labor of love that allowed Matheson and Ford to call attention to the Charlottesville businesses they loved in their area. The headquarters for The Scout Guide remains in Charlottesville even though this passion for local living has since expanded.
Highlighting Local Businesses All Over the United States
The Scout Guide now has editors in more than 30 cities nationwide, and all of them are committed to their local communities and local living. The profiles on local businesses include elegant photography that captures the look and feel of local business people who are profiled.
See The Scout Guide for Yourself
The second annual print edition of The Scout Guide is available at Dr. Newman's practice and at other local businesses in the community. It can also be found at major events in Nashville, such as the Country Music Awards (CMAs) and the Antiques & Garden Show, as well as various non-profit functions.

Why Local Businesses Matter to the Community
While chain stores have their place and online shopping is extremely convenient, it's the local businesses that make a community what it is. This goes for locally owned boutiques and clothiers as well as local cafes, restaurants, medical practices, and other kinds of businesses.
Without these places and without the people who gather at these places, a city would lose its identity. The passion for living local is all about the passion for your neighbors and letting the place in which you live be wholly itself.
Dr. Newman and His Commitment to the Local Community
A part of Nashville for more than 10 years, Dr. Newman has always done his best to reach out to his neighbors. Dr. Newman participated in WTVF News Channel 5's Christmas Wish, in which he performed a dental makeover on a person who was unable to afford care.
Dr. Newman's faith has also allowed him to connect with people throughout Nashville as well. He is an active member in the First Presbyterian Church and is also involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, which allows him to provide necessary dental treatments to young athletes who need his help. Dr. Newman is also a member of the Nashville Interfaith Dental Clinic. This group brings together dental professionals throughout Middle Tennessee to help low-income, uninsured, and elderly patients receive affordable dental care.
